The Career Advice Office is financed by the European Union and the Ministry of Education and Religion (3rd Community Support Framework - Operational Program for Education and Initial Training) as all the other University and T.E.I. Career Advice Offices in Greece. Its main objective is to facilitate the contact of T.E.I graduates with the wider labor market. To achieve this goal, the Career Advice Office provides the following services: - offers professional orientation to students and graduates
- informs students and graduates about the requirements of the labour market, enterprises and sectors of professions
- informs students and graduates about the positions available in the labour market in local and regional level
- finds the positions necessary for the practical training of students in enterprises of their specialty
- records and co-operates with local authorities, enterprises, social services and public organisations
- offers information and guidance to High School students for the programme of studies in the T.E.I of Messolonghi
- organizes and promotes meetings with students / graduates and business representatives and employers

As the number of departments and students is increasing, advising graduates of the T.E.I. of Messolonghi on the labour market in Aitoloakarnania, in Greece and even abroad has become a necessity. Graduates must be informed of all the work possibilities related to their studies that the market offers. The Career Advice Office offers them its constant support in finding the right position for their qualifications. The Career Advice Office collects information on the needs for technical and scientific staff that enterprises, banks and organizations have, classifies it and makes it known to the students. Graduates who are interested in a position are welcome to hand in their curriculum vitae which is then forwarded to perspective employers. - advises and supports graduates for postgraduate studies and scholarships in Greece and abroad
The Career Advice Office of the T.E.I of Messolonghi co-operates with the State Scholarships Foundation, the British Council, the French Institute and all the higher institutes in Greece . A great number of information leaflets which have been collected offer students all the necessary information about post-graduate studies. - The Career Advice Office Activities also include:
- Creation of data base of enterprises and organizations
- Creation of data base of students and graduates
- Publication of information leaflets
- Creation of a website
- Organization of events and meetings in co-operation with local authorities
- Career Fairs
